WINGS Reproductive Healthcare for Every Guatemalan

In 2008, WINGS' Cervical Cancer Detection and Treatment Program achieved the following:

• Screened 4,352 women for cervical cancer (24% for the first time);
• Treated 45% of abnormalities on the same day using cryotherapy;
• Referred 5% of women under age 50 not currently using a contraceptive method to family planning services;
• Provided 89 educational talks, reaching 2,362 women.
