In 2008, WINGS built capacity for improved reproductive health education and service delivery in the following ways:
- Trained eight partner organizations in reproductive health, family planning, and program design and implementation;
- Shared educational materials with 14 partner organizations;
- Participated in eight national commissions and networks including the Intersectoral Commission for Adolescents and Youth, the Commission for Responsible Parenting, the National Population Commission (CONAPO), and the Women’s Health Network;
- In collaboration with partner organization Vivamos Mejor, expanded the Sololá program to reach 45 communities with comprehensive services including family planning, cervical cancer detection and treatment, and youth peer educator training.
