Before joining WINGS, Lucky worked for six years at the Ixmacane Assocation, which trains midwives in areas with high levels of infant mortality. “It was during this time that I noticed how bad education and information was on health issues in Guatemala, especially for women. I firmly believe that reproductive and sexual health education can make an enormous difference to the lives of people who, through a lack of education, culture, and religious beliefs, have never had access to it.”
