WINGS Reproductive Healthcare for Every Guatemalan

Pepe lives in Chimaltenango and is 19 years old. He started his journey with WINGS as a Youth WINGS peer educator in 2004. Through the Youth WINGS program, he learned to give educational talks and to counsel his peers in reproductive health and famiy planning, something he enjoyed very much. After three years as one of our most outstanding peer educators, WINGS offered him a permanent position as a Youth WINGS Educator. Pepe now works to coordinate educational talks for adolescents regarding sexual and reproductive health. He is also pursuing a degree in architecture, but continues to enjoy his work with WINGS because he knows he is helping young people.
