WINGS Reproductive Healthcare for Every Guatemalan

Christy began her journey with WINGS as the recipient of an academic scholarship, which gave her the opportunity to pursue a degree as a Bilingual Secretary.

In 2008 and 2009, Christy worked for WINGS as an intern in the administrative office.   In December 2009, Christy was offered a position with WINGS as its secretary.  As she says, “I am very happy to be part of the WINGS team, because it is an institution that is responsible for strengthening and educating Guatemalan families without discrimination.  I like my job because I feel that somehow I'm helping other young people who want a better life, in the same way that WINGS helped me."
